Questions parents ask
Asked and answered.
What ages do you coach?
Reception to Year 7, all abilities. Holiday camps run in two age groups, Reception to Year 2 and Year 3 to Year 7, so younger children are never thrown in with the big ones.
Where in Lytham St Annes do you coach?
Holiday camps run at AKS Lytham on Clifton Drive South and at Lytham St Annes High School on Worsley Road. The weekly academy runs on the floodlit astro at Fylde Rugby Club in Ansdell, so it carries on all winter. After-school clubs run at local primary schools.
Do girls play?
Yes. Sessions are mixed across everything we do, and there is dedicated girls' football led by our coaching team.
My child has never played before. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Camps and clubs are for all abilities. Most children start with a holiday camp to see if they like it, then move on to the weekly academy.
Who are the coaches?
The business was started in 2005 by Jamie Milligan, a former Everton, Blackpool and Fleetwood Town player who holds his A Licence and still coaches every day. Every coach is FA-qualified, DBS-checked and first-aid trained.
